Correct a line in Trinity Bound Book

Updated October 19, 2026 in FFL and compliance

If your store uses Trinity Bound Book, you can correct a line without losing its history. Every change is logged with who made it, when, and your reason.

  1. Find the line under Search in the Bound Book and open it.
  2. Click Correct this line at the top.
  3. Change only what is wrong. Boxes you change turn amber, and Your changes shows each old and new value before you save. Picking an NFA type, such as NFA/Short Barrel Rifle, sets the NFA item box to Yes for you.
  4. Fill in Reason for the change, then click Save correction. Undo my edits puts everything back.

The change appears in the line's History, and on a committed line it also prints in the notes column of the book.

Note: Correcting a committed line needs the commit permission. The store owner can give it to a team member under the Bound Book
