Point old website links to your new pages

Updated October 19, 2026 in Your website and marketing

If an old address, such as a link on your Google Business listing or from your old website, now shows "no longer available", send it to the right page with a redirect.

  1. Open Redirects (left menu, under Content).
  2. In Old address, enter the old link, for example /oldpage.html. You can paste the full old link; only the part after your domain is kept.
  3. In New address, enter the page it should go to, for example /category/handguns, or a full https:// address.
  4. Click Add redirect.

Visitors and search engines are sent to the new page automatically. Use Search an address to find a redirect, and Delete to remove one.

Some redirects happen without you: when you change a product's URL Slug, the old address is redirected for you, and old product links go to the matching product when it is still in stock.

Note: If an old address with several parts, like /shop/olditem, does not redirect after you add it, email support@2adata.com and we will switch it on for your store.

Still stuck? Email support@2adata.com and tell us which article you were reading.
