Video pages: a page for every product video

Updated October 19, 2026 in Your website and marketing

Many of your products have videos: reviews, range tests and unboxings from YouTube. Each of those videos now has its own page on your store, with the video playing at the top and the product beside it. Google can show these pages in its video results, which it never does for a product page.

What your customers see

  • A watch page for each video at your store address followed by /video/ and the video name. It shows the video, who made it, when it was uploaded and how long it runs, and a card for the product with its price and an Add to Cart button.
  • A Videos page at /videos that lists them all, with filters for brand and category and a search box. It is linked from your footer as Product Videos.
  • On each product page, the Videos tab has a Watch on its own page link under every video and a See all videos link.

What happens by itself

  • Every video is checked with YouTube. A video that was deleted, made private or can no longer be played on other sites disappears from your product pages and its page is removed.
  • The title shown is the video's real title from YouTube.
  • The product card only appears when you sell that product. Brands you hide, items your catalog settings leave out (for example NFA items if you do not sell them) and products that are switched off never show.
  • Your sitemap lists the video pages so Google can find them. A video whose title does not mention the product's brand or model is still shown to customers but is not offered to Google.

Turning it off

  1. Go to Settings, Company tab.
  2. Find Video Pages and untick Show video pages on my store, then click Save Video Pages Setting.

With it off, the video pages and the Videos page are not found, product pages stop linking to them, the footer link goes away, and they leave your sitemap within two hours. Your product pages still show their videos as before. Tick the box again to bring everything back.

Note: Video pages are on for every store by default. New videos get their own page within a few hours of being added.
