Updated November 3, 2026 in What's new

Released November 3, 2026. A fuller register at the counter, Email for Price sent by a person for brands that require it, and phone orders paid another way.

Added

  • Register: trade ins, buys and Quick Add. TRADE IN on the register now takes everything the bound book needs (make, model, type, caliber, serial, condition and the person from their ID) plus what you pay and the sale price. BUY next to it buys a gun outright with no sale, paid by store credit (a code you can print or email) or by check, and every buy is kept in the new Buy Log. Quick Add tiles ring up range time and other services in one tap; set them up with Edit Quick Add on the register. Services have no stock count and never show on your website, and they count in your P&L. The POS home has a Consignment tile, and Take In an Item is now for consignments only, with + Add another gun for several guns from one person, each with its own serial and prices.
  • Store credit and gift cards at the register. Type or scan the code, see the balance and use it; cash or card pays the rest. The receipt shows what was used and what is left, the day close shows store credit apart from drawer cash, and a full refund puts the store credit back on the card.
  • FOID cards. On Take In an Item, add an optional FOID card number, expiry date and copy when you add a person, or any time later. Only signed in staff can open the copy.
  • Send Prices. For brands whose MAP policy forbids automatic price emails (Holosun today), shoppers still use Email for Price, but a person sends each price. Send Prices in the menu shows a red count of waiting requests and fills in today's cart price; Send emails the shopper a short note signed with your name and a one time code meant for that shopper only, and Send all and Close all clear the list at once. A price under your cost is refused, and Make an Offer is off for these brands on your website and on GunBroker.
  • Phone orders paid another way. Staff can take a phone or mail order paid by Zelle, cash, check, money order or another way, with no card. Nothing is charged, and Phone Orders shows how it was paid instead of Bill card. A customer who opens the form link is always asked for a card.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Settings, Analytics has a Microsoft Clarity project ID box beside Google Analytics. Paste your project ID or the Clarity tag and your storefront reports to your own Clarity project; leave it empty and nothing loads.

Improved

  • Record Manual Shipment. Pick where the item shipped from: your own stock (the units come off your shelf), one of your distributors, or Other. The quantity starts at what is left to ship, an optional Shipping cost box records what the label cost you and counts in the order's shipping profit, and a shipment from your own shelf now sends the customer the tracking email.
  • Category and brand pages. They have a cleaner top on phones and desktop: no repeated filter chip or second product count, a one row search box, Sort by on one line, and a short intro centred under the heading. A store that does not sell NFA no longer shows an NFA/Class 3 category.
  • GunBroker. GunBroker categories were corrected from the shared catalog on November 3 (your own category choices and edits are kept; live listings change when they relist), Sports South's "photo coming soon" card is never sent (another distributor's photo is used when there is one), and GunBroker orders shipped by Bangers, 2AWS and Kroll now get marked shipped with tracking on GunBroker. On request, support can limit your GunBroker listings to items your chosen distributors have in stock.
  • Checkout. The "One moment while we finalize your card details" loop is gone, a problem on the store's side tells the shopper plainly that it is not their card and to call you, a successful payment clears that shopper's earlier declines on its own, and on stores using Authorize.Net the shopper's IP address goes with each charge to help fraud checks.
  • Orders. An FFL upload waiting for review says so on the order page, with a link to FFL Uploads. The order page and order history count a customer's archived orders, so a returning customer is not shown as a first time buyer. A distributor's sold out answer takes that item's stock to zero at once, and on stores with TaxJar reporting on, an order goes to TaxJar when you mark it complete.
  • Your own stock. A used gun counts only for its own listing, never for the new gun with the same UPC; a gun that is sold but not yet logged out stays off sale everywhere; units sold from your shelf come off once, not again at shipping; and a full refund puts held stock back on sale.
  • Customer emails. They never show an internal status name or talk about suppliers or warehouses, and the out of stock cancellation no longer promises things you have not said.
  • Feeds and sitemaps. Every live store is in the Gun Made price comparison feed by default, and your sitemap now lists your published custom pages.
  • Favorites. Dashboard is always first and Send Prices second, then your own picks.

Fixed

  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on every store. A Measurement ID entered only on Settings, Analytics now reaches your storefront (on some stores it was not sent to Google Analytics at all), and the Clarity tag loads on every store once you enter your project ID.
  • Consignments and the Trinity Bound Book. On a store whose bound book is Trinity Bound Book, a consigned gun is now logged in the book as a consignment and goes on sale once its line commits. A trade in or consignment goes on sale only when its book entry is committed, never while it is still pending.
  • Order page. A paid register sale with a trade in no longer shows its total as Balance due.
  • Register and storefront fixes. Register receipts open on every store, the Trade ins page counts only register trade ins and names the person, the age check and newsletter pop up no longer come back on a page the browser saved, gun.deals "local inventory only" counts your Local Stock items as well as guns in your bound book, brand links with punctuation in the name open the right page, and an FFL copy request to a dealer says your FFL is attached only when it is.
