What's new in Trinity: release notes and change log

Updated October 22, 2026 in What's new

Trinity is updated continuously. Every change that touches your store is written up here, one article per release, newest first, and the same notes are on the What's New page in your admin (left menu, under System). Type a feature or a problem into the Help search and the release that changed it comes up.

The latest release is 4.1.0 (October 22, 2026): An eBay Listing Manager, safer prices on every store, and a cleaner storefront.

Version numbers: the first number is a new generation of the platform, the second a release with new features, the third a release of improvements and fixes. Your store takes every release the night it ships; there is nothing to install.

  • 4.0.7 (October 14, 2026): One Pricing page, a Marketplaces menu, a phone and mail order form for every store, credit receipts customers can read, layaway on the order page, and a long list of checkout and ordering improvements.
  • 4.0.6 (October 10, 2026): Edit your policy pages in a visual editor, video pages for your products, store hours, hazmat kept off the shelf, and tracking that fills itself in.
  • 4.0.5 (October 8, 2026): Your edits and your settings stay yours, and every brand shows up under one name.
  • 4.0.4 (October 7, 2026): Know exactly why a checkout failed, and a complete layaway program.
  • 4.0.3 (October 7, 2026): Let a paused shopper back into checkout yourself, and a steadier site at busy times.
  • 4.0.2 (October 7, 2026): A real knowledge base, your own website pages, and return labels ready to go.
  • 4.0.1 (October 4, 2026): Steadier GunBroker syncing, email you can count on, and tracking numbers that show up on their own.
  • 4.0.0 (October 2, 2026): The biggest update yet. A real register for the counter, purchase orders and receiving, consignments and trade ins, customer invoices you can get paid on, a smarter Deals page, full specifications on every product, and a long list of fixes to ordering, payments and pricing.
  • 3.20.0 (September 11, 2026): Preview your store before it goes public, take it live when you're ready, and a
  • 3.19.0 (September 3, 2026): Distributor price and quantity feeds. Every dealer's inventory now refreshes on a
  • 3.18.0 (August 25, 2026): Store branded email. Every outgoing email now takes its identity from the
  • 3.17.0 (August 24, 2026): Safety and truth in listing release. Three weeks of incidents , a firearm order that auto shipped without its FFL requirement, AI written listing titles that promised more than the box contains, and listings that refused to die , each became a systemic fix rather than a one off patch. Alongside them: the system health board, a much faster storefront, and a long overdue cleanup of how dealer licences attach to orders.
  • 3.16.0 (August 3, 2026): Compliance and order routing release. A MAP violation notice from Heckler & Koch exposed a whole class of unprotected listings, and the fix closed it across the catalog. Distributor orders that used to fail silently and retry forever now fail over to the next supplier on their own, and the customer account pages finally show every package on a multi box shipment.
  • 3.15.0 (July 31, 2026): Reliability release. Duplicate distributor orders, a GunBroker sync that had slowed to a crawl, and inventory counts that did not match the shelf were all traced to root causes and fixed.
  • 3.13.1 (July 17, 2026): Receiving desk and fraud hardening release. Cross dock receiving can now find hand routed orders from non integrated distributors (the Davidson's workflow), a sweeper cron guarantees no paid order ever ships unscreened, and orders held for fraud are hard blocked from every manual shipping path.
  • 3.13.0 (July 16, 2026): Security release. After a coordinated stolen card fraud ring hit our GunBroker channel , seven orders, mostly premium optics, all on brand new GunBroker accounts , we built real time fraud screening for GunBroker orders, a channel that previously had none. The key that made it possible: GunBroker runs its card payments through our own Authorize.Net gateway, so we can pull the real card, AVS, and CVV data and screen it through NoFraud exactly like a website order. Also in this release: a new Receiving desk for logging guns into the book, a per user Work Report, one off manual shipment recording, corrected Umarex MAP enforcement across 28 products, and a fix for a combined order discount bug that was quietly under charging customers.
  • 3.12.1 (July 10, 2026): Follow up release: one click direct printing to two printers via QZ Tray, and the final fix for FastBound disposition timestamps.
  • 3.12.0 (July 9, 2026): July mid month release: recovered product imagery at scale (15,000+ products re imaged and moved to durable in house hosting, plus a multi day campaign re pointing GunBroker listings at the fixed images); launched the AmmoSeek price comparison feed; overhauled abandoned cart recovery and price request follow ups into revenue drivers; fixed a week of silent FFL document delivery failures to distributors; and closed a string of pricing, tracking, and compliance gaps.
  • 3.11.0 (July 2, 2026): July release: opened shipping to the U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) with an island surcharge and dedicated SEO pages; sharpened the automated order processor (sell our own stock first, Athlon email dropship, Samson MAP compliance); released in store shipment tracking to customers; started a catalog wide cleanup of screaming ALL CAPS distributor feed titles; and corrected several listing, refund display, and payment issues.
  • 3.10.0 (June 16, 2026): June release: launched B2B wholesale dealer accounts, brought product imagery fully in house onto the NAS, added self healing for live marketplace listing images, hardened fulfillment against cost and mismatch errors, expanded the finance reporting, and simplified the storefront's traffic filtering policy.
  • 3.9.0 (May 31, 2026): Two front evening: (A) order processing reliability , catch all GB re listing race, multiple auto fulfill bugs, Orion phantom SKU registry. (B) Massive SEO attack , false-410 cleanup, 3,097 nationwide city landing pages, brand page enhancements with aggregate reviews + monthly trending sections, blog based shipping restrictions reference.
  • 3.8.1 (May 29, 2026): GunBroker listing gap recovery. Active listings had flatlined well below the number of in stock products eligible to list. Root cause was a combination of an over broad catch all stability gate plus queue processors that ate their own error messages, making the actual blockers invisible.
  • 3.8.0 (May 28, 2026): Price feed conformance overhaul (gun.deals v2 spec) plus a sweep of cron resilience fixes. Most referral revenue rides on the gun.deals + wikiarms feeds, so the work was driven by a real MAP violation incident on Holosun HS507COMP that surfaced multiple deeper feed quality problems.
