Added
- Distributor feeds now run automatically for every store, every two hours. They previously only ran when someone started them by hand, which left one store showing no purchasable stock at all and three stores that had never pulled a price in their lives.
- Each distributor now has two separate switches: Ordering (send purchase orders and collect tracking) and Data feeds (pull that distributor's price and quantity). They were previously one setting, so turning off a feed also turned off ordering.
- The product catalogue now publishes to every store on a nightly schedule, in two steps: master to the shared catalogue at 3 AM, then out to each store.
Changed
- Price and quantity are now matched using the distributor's own item number instead of the product barcode. Several distributors send a quantity file that contains no barcode at all, so those items could never be matched before , one distributor went from 36 matched items to over 34,000.
- Barcodes are normalised the same way across every feed (13-digit codes lose a leading zero, short codes are padded), so the same product no longer fails to match itself between two files.
- An item a distributor has stopped listing now drops to zero stock instead of keeping its last known quantity forever. This only applies when a distributor sends a complete list; partial refreshes never zero anything.
Fixed
- The Distributors page showed "Last Sync: Never" for every distributor on every store, even seconds after a successful refresh. It now shows the real time of the last price and quantity update.
- A single failing distributor could take down every other distributor in the same run. One distributor's temporary error now affects only that distributor.
- Two distributors' stored passwords were being sent to them in encrypted form rather than as the actual password, so those feeds could never sign in.
- Distributor settings pages now render on/off options as switches rather than dropdowns.
