Released July 9, 2026. July mid month release: recovered product imagery at scale (15,000+ products re imaged and moved to durable in house hosting, plus a multi day campaign re pointing GunBroker listings at the fixed images); launched the AmmoSeek price comparison feed; overhauled abandoned cart recovery and price request follow ups into revenue drivers; fixed a week of silent FFL document delivery failures to distributors; and closed a string of pricing, tracking, and compliance gaps.

Added

• AmmoSeek price comparison feed , the store now publishes ~25,900 products (ammo, guns, magazines, bullets, brass, reloading) to AmmoSeek, validated against their spec with strict accuracy rules (a product only lists when its caliber and rounds per box are known with confidence). The feed is health monitored like gun.deals and wikiarms, with automatic email alerts if it ever goes stale.
• Abandoned cart recovery, rebuilt , abandoned carts now get a personalized email with a one click cart restore link, a second touch at 48 hours, and a dedicated recovery email for card declined checkouts (with practical billing address/fraud filter guidance). High value carts stocked at our free shipping distributors are automatically offered free shipping when the margin supports it.
• Price request follow ups , customers whose quoted price is about to expire get a reminder, and high value quotes that lapsed get a modest sweetened re quote (capped at 1-2%), automatically and margin aware.
• Customer "View Details" order page , the order details link in customers' account pages had never worked (it pointed at a page that didn't exist); customers can now see itemized orders, totals, refunds, carrier linked tracking, and their FFL dealer.
• Below cost listing guard , when GunBroker auto relists remaining stock after a partial sale, it copies the old price; if our replacement cost has risen past that price, the relist is now ended automatically and recreated at the correct price. Added after a cost jump caused a 10-box ammo sale at a loss.
• FastBound: blank location = not for sale , serialized inventory logged without a location (or located "Order") is excluded from the website, GunBroker, and all feeds. Guns on order can now be logged with no location at all and stay offline until given one.

Changed

• Product imagery moved fully in house , broken images across the catalog were recovered from distributor sources (a Kinsey's CDN discovery alone fixed ~94% of their broken links) and all images now live on the NAS in a durable, content addressed layout. Distributor only image sourcing is the standing policy. In stock broken image count dropped from ~39,300 to ~24,000 and continues to drain nightly.
• All uploads now store to the NAS , every FFL/SOT document and product/review image upload path now writes to network storage instead of the web server's C: drive; 476 existing files (400MB) were migrated off local disk with links preserved.
• Checkout guidance , declined cards now get constructive help (billing address and fraud filter tips), and customers who can't find their FFL dealer can skip that step at checkout and get help afterward.
• 4x6 thermal label printing , UPS labels now fill the full 4x6 stock with proper margins (labels used to print undersized and clipped at the top edge).

Fixed

• Free shipping promo codes were never applied , customers with valid free shipping codes were being charged shipping at checkout (two affected customers refunded); codes now zero out shipping correctly and usage is tracked.
• FFL documents silently failing to reach distributors , Crow Shooting Supply stopped receiving FFL copies on June 14 because the upload only looked for documents on local disk (they moved to network storage in April). Fixed, all missed documents delivered, and the same latent bug was fixed in the Camfour, Lipsey's, MSR, and GunBroker FFL validation paths before it could bite.
• MGE tracking sync errors (20-47/day) , a line ending parsing bug meant only the newest MGE response file was ever read; every run re attempted 668 failed downloads and tripped false timeout alarms. Fixed; 49 orders stuck in "uploaded" status received their acknowledgments, and runs went from 5-13 minutes to 4 seconds.
• FastBound disposition timestamps , dispositions were stamped with a hardcoded winter time offset, making every disposition an hour early during daylight saving months (and sometimes appearing to predate the gun's acquisition). Timestamps are now accurate year round with a 2-minute safety skew.
• GunBroker listing images at scale , 5,146 listings re imaged in one campaign, then a 15,286-listing class of stale image references discovered and drained (7,500 repaired same day, remainder on a nightly job) , GunBroker keeps image URLs by reference, so product side fixes never propagated on their own.
• Feed MAP compliance , the gun.deals feed now floors advertised prices at MAP and excludes deactivated products (resolved an H&K MAP notice and a FoxPro/Sports South account cutoff).
• Miscategorized products , a Smith & Wesson Model 41 pistol barrel reported by GunBroker browsing (plus 24 more items: thermal scopes, Glock pistol barrels, stocks, a shotgun barrel) moved out of the "AR Barrels" category.
