Released July 17, 2026. Receiving desk and fraud hardening release. Cross dock receiving can now find hand routed orders from non integrated distributors (the Davidson's workflow), a sweeper cron guarantees no paid order ever ships unscreened, and orders held for fraud are hard blocked from every manual shipping path.
Added
- NoFraud screen sweeper , a safety net cron (every 5 minutes) that finds any paid order that never got a fraud screen decision, the screen errored, checkout died mid request, or GunBroker's data hadn't loaded yet, and resolves it: GunBroker orders are screened once their data lands, exempt orders (FFL, Credova, no card payment) are stamped skipped, and website card orders that can no longer be screened faithfully are held on Do Not Ship with an email alert. Closes the class of gap that had let a fraudulent order ship.
- Do Not Ship hard block , an order on
do_not_ship_hold(failed or incomplete fraud screen) can no longer be fulfilled through Process Fulfillment or Record Manual Shipment. The block explains why the order is held; deliberately changing the order status is the only override. - Quick Ship distributor picker , when a scanned gun's order has no ship to store record (hand placed orders at non integrated distributors like Davidson's), Quick Ship now asks which distributor shipped the box, auto fills that distributor's FFL, and records the missing routing line when the acquisition commits.
- Multi warehouse distributor FFLs , a distributor can now have several licensed warehouses on file (Davidson's: Prescott AZ + Greensboro NC), shown as a dropdown on both Receiving and Quick Ship so the operator books the acquisition against the warehouse the box actually shipped from. Using a new FFL at receive adds it to the list instead of overwriting.
- FastBound approved Type and Caliber dropdowns , the Type field on Receiving and Quick Ship now offers exactly FastBound's 15 approved item types (bare "Silencer" is not one , it's "NFA/Silencer"), and the Caliber field offers every caliber already accepted in our bound book plus the common ones. Both still allow typing.
Fixed
- Cross dock scan couldn't find hand routed firearm orders , scanning a UPC in Quick Ship only matched orders with a ship to store record, which hand routed orders (ordered manually on the distributor's own website) never get. Those orders were invisible to receiving. The scan now also matches firearms on open orders with no routing record, and its status list matches the Receiving desk's.
- G Shock watches listed in firearm categories , 40 Casio/G Shock watches were sitting in "Other Handguns" and "NFA Parts & Accessories" (a factor in the July fraud pattern confusion); recategorized to Watches with the correct GunBroker category (16 active listings correct on next sync).
- Established buyer GunBroker skips now leave a record , when the fraud screen skips an established buyer (10+ feedback, full AVS match), it now writes an order note saying so, instead of leaving no trace of the decision.
- Adversarial review round (same day) , an independent multi agent review of all of the above found and we fixed: three more ways a held order could ship (buying a label, adding tracking by hand, combining orders); the receive cost booking from the generic product price instead of the picked distributor's price (a mis booked serial corrected everywhere including FastBound); the Receiving desk overwriting the multi warehouse FFL list (the affected licence was restored); ambiguous 3+5 FFL shorthand booking an arbitrary license when two match (now refuses and asks for the full number); stale or fully satisfied old orders capturing scanned guns meant for newer orders; paperwork blocked orders (awaiting ATF/SOT/hazmat) invisible to the cross dock scan; and stale FFL/dropdown state when switching distributors.
