What's new in 4.0.9 (October 20, 2026): QuickBooks export and finance reports for every store, Alaska and Hawaii shipping rules, and honest review pages.

Updated October 22, 2026 in What's new

Released October 20, 2026. QuickBooks export and finance reports for every store, Alaska and Hawaii shipping rules, and honest review pages.

Added

  • QuickBooks Export under Reports: order detail with the buyer and the distributor sides, a QuickBooks sales receipt import and a distributor bill import, covering the same orders as Finance Reports. Finance Reports now show your own P&L down to operating profit, in plain words.
  • Finance inputs on Store Settings. Enter your average card processing fee so Operating Profit, the dashboard and the QuickBooks export use your real rate, and the flat fee GunBroker charges you per firearm sold so it is counted in the GunBroker fees on reports, the dashboard and the order page. Neither changes a price.
  • Alaska and Hawaii shipping rules. Shipping Settings can apply your AK and HI firearm rates on every firearm order, and charge an AK and HI fee on non firearm items. Both are off until you set them, and the setup wizard now saves your shipping rates on a brand new store.
  • Pricing profiles for firearms. The Pricing page explains how to give firearms their own markup table, and the Sell Price box on the product page resolves the pricing profile exactly as the storefront does. On request, GunBroker listings can be priced from the pricing profile as well.
  • Processor test mode. When your card processor's underwriters need to walk through checkout, support can put your store in a test mode where they go all the way through and nothing is charged or placed, with a notice across the top of every page. A browse only store can keep a short list of items buyable.

Improved

  • Email. New order copies, distributor copies, phone order charged notices, RSR ship to store notices, fraud holds and customer return requests all go to the store's own mailbox. The password reset email names your store, and on request customer emails carry your store's colours, logo and wording, including the standard delivery time lines.
  • GunBroker shipping class and hazmat rules. Listings get the right shipping class from GunBroker's own category tree, so the next time an item lists it is correct. Shotgun shells count as ammunition everywhere ammo rules apply; primers by part number, powder by maker and primed brass are hazmat; gun care products, smokeless blanks and the Traditions 209 Quick Loader are not.
  • Storefront. On phones, prices never split across two lines, the MAP badge wraps above the price instead of clipping, two across cards are wider, and an empty listing page tells search engines to move on. A store with no reviews shows no rating, stars or praise, a store with Google reviews but no product reviews gets a plain subtitle, the sitemap lists the reviews page only where there is something to read, and Best Sellers and Most Viewed now come from real orders and real views.
  • Cart recovery. The second reminder waits 24 hours after any email, reminders skip sold out items, nothing is sent when nothing in the cart is buyable, and a failed send is not queued again every run.
  • Catalog housekeeping. An item switches off the moment every distributor shows it sold out, a short list of restricted products is kept out of every store's catalog and off GunBroker whatever the feeds say, and the old product import page is retired because new products reach your store from the shared catalog on their own. When you buy a label, the measured weight and box size are locked on that product so no catalog update overwrites them, and an estimated weight prices shipping but is never shown to shoppers.
