Zanders FFL uploads

Updated October 19, 2026 in FFL and compliance

Zanders takes the customer's FFL for a drop ship firearm order as a file in your own folder on Zanders' FTP server. Your store uploads it there for you when the order is placed.

  • Each store has its own folder, in the form /Inventory/YourStore/FFL. A new store needs Zanders to create that folder first; ask your Zanders rep, or we will ask for you when you join.
  • The folder is set on Zanders Settings (Distributors, then Configure on Zanders) in FFL upload folder, under the Zanders FTP login. The same FTP login also brings in Zanders' inventory.
  • If the upload does not work, the FFL is emailed to Zanders at ffltransfer@gzanders.com instead.
  • If both fail, the order shows a warning to upload the FFL to Zanders FTP or email it to ffltransfer@gzanders.com. Do that by hand, against the order already placed. Never place the order a second time.
