Add your store mailbox to Outlook or an iPhone

Microsoft 365 email (including Microsoft 365 bought through GoDaddy) blocks the old password only connections, so add the mailbox as a Microsoft account rather than IMAP or POP.

• iPhone: Settings, Mail (on newer iPhones, Apps then Mail), Mail Accounts, Add Account, choose Microsoft Exchange, then Sign In.
• Outlook: File, Add Account, enter the address and click Connect. Do not open Advanced Options or choose manual setup, IMAP or POP.

If it ever asks you for server names, you have gone down the manual path by mistake. Go back and start again.
