Getting started 15: Where to get help
Chapter 15 of 15 of Getting Started with Trinity, by Brad Bussell, 2AData. Also on the web at www.2adata.com/getting-started.
- Help Center in your admin (left menu, Help): more than 160 guides in ten topics (Getting Started and Go Live, Orders, Products and Catalog, FFL and Compliance, Shipping, Payments, GunBroker, Website and Marketing, Email and Logins, Distributors), written from the real screens with the exact labels. Type what you would ask a person into the search box: "why is my price below MAP", "RSR code 99", "customer wants a refund". Most guides link straight to the admin page they describe, and the guides on refunds, the credit card surcharge and swapping the gun on an order each carry a warning, for instance that a refund is never automatic.
- kb.2adata.com: most of the same guides on the public web, plus a credential guide for each distributor, so your staff can read them on a phone without an admin login, and so Google finds them when you search a problem.
- Setup Wizard and Go Live in your admin: the live checklist of what your store still needs.
- support@2adata.com: a person reads it. Send us a distributor's reply, a MAP notice, a Search Console question, a strange order. Never send a password; enter those in the admin.
This guide will be updated as the numbers change. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
