Block a brand from your site and GunBroker

Setting a brand to Inactive does not take its products off your site. The Hide boxes do.

1. Open Manufacturers (left menu, under Shipping & FFL).
2. Type the brand in Search manufacturers... and click Edit on its row.
3. Under Visibility, tick Hide from search results and Hide from category pages. Both are needed: one on its own does nothing.
4. Under Marketplace Channels, tick Disable on GunBroker. Its products will no longer be listed there.
5. Click Save Changes.

Note: Distributors send some brands under several spellings. We combine them into one brand (Heckler & Koch, for example, now also covers HK and H&K), and when the spellings had different settings the safer one is kept: MAP on, the higher markup, and anything you switched off stays off. If the search still shows more than one entry for a brand, do every entry and email us so we can combine them.

The products come off your website within about two hours, when the catalog rules next run.

To undo it, untick the same boxes and save. The products come back on as the regular price and stock updates switch them on again, which can take a while. Email us if you need them back sooner.
