EasyPost shipping labels for orders you ship yourself
If you pack and ship any orders from your own location, connect an EasyPost account so labels and tracking flow into Trinity. Drop ship only stores can skip it.
When a distributor drop ships an order, the distributor makes the label. But if you ship anything yourself, such as ship to store orders you pass on to the customer, or items from your own shelf, you need a way to buy and print carrier labels. For that we recommend EasyPost.
Why EasyPost
One EasyPost account gives you discounted USPS, UPS and FedEx rates, and it connects straight to Trinity, so labels and tracking land on the orders you ship in-house.
Only drop shipping? You can skip this. The distributor generates the label when it ships the order.
Set it up
- Create an account at EasyPost. The full 2AData guide links to the sign-up page.
- In your EasyPost account, find your production API key. Trinity needs the production key, not the test key.
- In your admin, open System > Settings and choose the Integrations tab.
- Under EasyPost (shipping labels), paste the key into EasyPost production API key and press Save Integration Settings.
- Press Test EasyPost connection. It shows the carriers your EasyPost account can ship with.
Once it is connected, you buy labels from each order when it is ready to ship.
