Why a GunBroker listing will not post

Updated October 19, 2026 in GunBroker

Start with the errors GunBroker sent back. Open GunBroker and click the Listing Errors tab (an orange number shows when there are any). Each row shows the Error Message and an Edit button for the product. Common ones:

  • Pricing (below cost / zero margin): the price would not cover cost. Check your pricing for that item.
  • Title policy violation: GunBroker refused a word in the title. Edit the title.
  • Listing create error or HTTP 400 (bad request): often a missing setting below.

Check your settings

Open Settings, GunBroker tab:

  • The GunBroker integration switch is on, and the rules under What may be listed allow the item.
  • Terms of sale is picked under Listing Settings. If Load my terms from GunBroker says "No terms found", you have not written any yet: in your GunBroker account go to Seller Tools, Standard Text, write your terms, then load again and click Save Settings.
  • If it says GunBroker would not log in, retype your username and password. See I changed my GunBroker password.
  • Shipping and Accepted Payment Methods are filled in.

Your GunBroker seller verification must also be finished. If a message says your store is not connected on our side yet, email support@2adata.com.
