Connect GunBroker
GunBroker is optional. If you sell there, open GunBroker and go to the Settings tab. The Set up GunBroker box at the top walks you through it:
- Have a GunBroker seller account. If you do not have one yet, create it; you verify your FFL as part of signing up. Finish GunBroker's seller verification, because your listings are held until it is done.
- Enter your username and password under Your GunBroker account. Your username is your exact GunBroker display name, spaces and capitals included. You do not need a Dev Key.
- Turn off four GunBroker emails so you are not told twice about your own orders. In GunBroker's Email Preferences, switch off: item listed, order confirmed, item closed, order created.
- Write your Terms of Sale in GunBroker under Standard Text, then pick them under Terms of sale in the Listing Settings. Load my terms from GunBroker pulls them in by name.
- Switch GunBroker on with the switch under GunBroker integration, and set the rules for what may be listed.
How it works once it is on
- Your eligible catalog can be listed on GunBroker at your pricing. Manage your listings from the same page. See Choose what lists on GunBroker.
- Orders sold there come into your Dashboard like any other order, and the customer's FFL comes across with the order when GunBroker provides it.
- Every sale on your GunBroker account comes into your store as an order, including sales from listings you made directly on GunBroker.
Important: Do not let your store list items you have already listed by hand on GunBroker, or you will have the same item listed twice. Use the rules under
What may be listed
on the Settings tab to keep them apart.
To keep a brand off GunBroker entirely, see Block a brand from your site and GunBroker.
