Set your markups: the Pricing page

Updated October 19, 2026 in Pricing and markups

Your products come from the distributor feeds you connect. You never type a sell price by hand: you set markups and the store works out each price from your live cost. Start your markups high; you can always lower them. To edit a single product (title, description, photos, switches), use Products.

Everything about price is on one page: Pricing in the left menu. (The old Settings, Pricing tab now sends you there.) Click a card's title to open or close it; the page remembers which cards you keep open.

Your everyday prices come from the Standard card. Everything in it is added together to make each price:

  1. Price tiers. Each tier is a cost range with a markup percent and an optional fixed dollar amount. An item uses the tier its cost falls in. Click Save Price Tiers when you are done.
  2. Try it live. The How it works box under the tiers has a cost box. Type any cost and it shows which tier it falls in and the sell price, updating as you change the tiers, before you save.
  3. Category markups add to the tier markup for a category. Click Save Category Markups.
  4. Brand markups are set on each brand under Manufacturers, next to that brand's MAP rule.
  5. Distributor fees add a percent or a fixed amount for one distributor, for example 2% to cover a distributor's card or drop ship fee. Click + Add Warehouse, pick the distributor, enter the amount, and save.

A blank percent or dollar box saves as 0. A blank to $ on the last tier means "and up".

How a distributor fee combines: it is added to the item's cost first, and the tier is then chosen by, and every markup applied to, that new cost. A $500 cost from a distributor with a 2% fee becomes $510.00; in an 8% tier it sells for $550.80. A fixed fee, such as $7.50 for drop ship, is marked up the same way. Distributor fees apply to every profile.

The price is then rounded to your price ending, and MAP applies after the markup, so a price never shows below MAP.

Note: Click

See all my markup rules

at the top of the page for one list of every rule your store has set: tiers, distributor fees, category and brand markups, other profiles and groups. Anything not listed there adds nothing.
