Drop ship or ship to store

Updated October 19, 2026 in Orders and fulfillment

Drop ship sends an item straight to your customer; ship to store brings it to you first. The order page recommends one for each item, and you decide.

  • Drop ship: the distributor ships straight to your customer (or to the customer's FFL for a firearm). Fastest, and nothing to handle on your end.
  • Ship to store: the item comes to your store first, then you ship it out or the customer collects it. Used when a distributor only offers this for an item.

The order page recommends a method for each item; you make the final call. Firearms always go FFL to FFL.

Important: Refunds are never issued automatically. Get the item back first (return, label, received), then a person runs the refund.
