Why is my eBay item waiting or not listing?
An item that cannot go up yet stays in Active Listings under Need attention, marked Waiting: needs a fix with the reason under it. The same reason shows on its review page and on the Activity tab.
| The reason says | What to do |
|---|---|
| eBay needs: (a detail, such as Size Type or Department) | Click Review and fill in Details eBay needs as the package says. |
| The price is under MAP | Raise Your price, or clear it to use the automatic price. |
| eBay pays you under your cost | Raise the price, or check the price change on its listing rule. |
| Your cost is not on file for this item | Add the cost to the product. The price check needs it. |
| No usable photo | Add a photo on the review page. |
| eBay condition choices are unavailable right now | Nothing to do: eBay did not answer. It tries again at the next send. |
| eBay does not take this condition in this category | Pick another Condition on the review page. |
| This listing runs as an auction (or fixed price). End it first | End the listing, then change how it sells. |
| Nothing in stock that this price covers | The item is out of stock at a cost the price covers. It goes up when stock comes back. |
| Price drop held | The price fell more than the limit in Settings step 6 at once. Check the product price; it goes through at the next sync once it looks right. |
If nothing goes up at all, check the two chips at the top of any eBay page: Selling and Automatic sync both need to be on, or you send items by hand with Send to eBay now.
Anything else from eBay shows word for word. Email support@2adata.com if it does not make sense.
