Price firearms, accessories and ammo differently
At the top of the Pricing page, Which profile prices what splits your catalog into groups. Every group starts on your Standard profile, so nothing changes until you pick something else.
| Group | Covers |
|---|---|
| Default | Every product |
| Firearms | Every item that ships to an FFL |
| In store firearms | FFL items you have in stock at the store |
| Drop ship firearms only | Firearms your distributor ships straight to the FFL |
| Accessories | Everything that does not need an FFL |
| In store accessories | Non FFL items you have in stock at the store |
| Drop ship accessories only | Non FFL items your distributor ships to the customer |
| Ammo | Ammunition (not boxes, cans or storage) |
- Create the profile you want under New profile and give it its tiers.
- In Which profile prices what, pick that profile for the group, then click Save.
Until you pick one, a group uses the same profile as the group above it, and the dropdown shows which profile that is. If an item fits two groups, the smaller group wins: in store first, then drop ship or ammo. A brand or category Assignment lower on the page beats every group.
Click See items beside any group to see how many items are in it, its top brands, and sample items with their cost, price and the profile pricing them.
Note: Profiles set your website prices. GunBroker and the other marketplaces always use Standard.
Step by step for firearms: Give firearms their own markup table.
