How to get Kinsey's credentials for Trinity
Kinsey's turns on API and dealer web services per account. What to ask your rep and where the keys go on the Kinsey's settings page.
Kinsey's connects through its API and dealer web services. These are switched on account by account, so the first step is your rep.
What to ask your Kinsey's rep
- To enable API and dealer web services on your account, for your integrator Trinity by 2AData.
- The API credentials for your dealer number, and for your dropship account if you have one.
Where it goes in Trinity
- In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
- Press Configure next to Kinseys. The Kinsey's settings page opens.
- Under Credentials & Settings, enter the account numbers and API keys Kinsey's gave you: the Kinsey's API Key, and the account number and API key for your dealer account and for your dropship account.
- Set the Primary warehouse (Kinsey's ships from Pennsylvania and Kentucky), a Store name for orders and a Notification email, and choose whether to allow backorders and split orders across warehouses.
- Press Save Settings, then Test connection. When the test passes, turn on Catalog updates and Ordering.

If Kinsey's product images look broken on your site, it is usually the image address pattern rather than your credentials. Email support@2adata.com and we will check it.
