How to get MGE Wholesale credentials for Trinity
MGE delivers its catalog over FTP. Ask your rep for FTP credentials and dropship approval, then enter them on the MGE Wholesale Settings page.
MGE Wholesale sends its catalog over FTP, and Trinity uses an FTP connection with MGE for orders as well.
What to ask your MGE rep
- FTP credentials for your dealer account, for your integrator Trinity by 2AData.
- Confirmation that your account is approved for drop shipping, if you plan to ship straight to customers.
- Your MGE dealer ID, if you do not have it handy.
Where it goes in Trinity
- In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
- Press Configure next to MGE Wholesale. The MGE Wholesale Settings page opens.
- Enter the FTP Host, FTP Username and FTP Password MGE gave you, along with your MGE Dealer ID, Dealer Name and Default Shipping Method, then press Save Settings.
- Press Test FTP Connection.
- Fill in MGE Rep Name, MGE Rep Email and a CC Email (Internal Copy) so order emails reach the right people, then press Save Contact Settings.
If a value on this page is not something MGE gave you (the folder paths, for example), leave it as it is or ask us before changing it.
