How to get MSR Distribution credentials for Trinity

MSR issues API credentials once your rep enables API access. What to ask, the drop ship check to make first, and where it goes in Trinity.

MSR Distribution connects through an API that your rep turns on for your dealer account.

What to ask your MSR rep

To enable API access for your dealer account, for your integrator Trinity by 2AData.
Your API credentials (a username and password for the API).
Whether your account is approved for drop shipping. Check this before you switch ordering on.

In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
Press Configure next to MSR Distribution. The MSR Distribution Settings page opens.
Enter the API Username and Password MSR gave you.
Fill in your rep's name and email, a CC email for copies, and your default ship carrier and method if MSR gave you codes for them.
Press Save Settings, then Test connection. When the test passes, turn on Catalog updates, and turn on Ordering once MSR has confirmed drop shipping.
