How to get Orion Wholesale credentials for Trinity

Orion Wholesale connects with a connection key, which works as your API key. Orion also sends your orders to a rep by email, so the rep details you keep in Trinity are part of the setup, not an extra.

What to ask your Orion rep

• A connection key for your dealer account, for your integrator Trinity by 2AData.
• Your source code, if Orion issues one. Orion has to set it up on their side first.
• The rep name and email that should receive your purchase orders.

Where it goes in Trinity

1. In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
2. Press Configure next to Orion. The Orion Wholesale Settings page opens.
3. Enter the API Connection Key (from Orion) and, if you have one, the Source code for order tracking.
4. Enter your Orion sales rep name and Orion sales rep email for order notifications, plus a CC email if you want copies.
5. Press Save Settings, then Test connection. When the test passes, turn on Catalog updates and Ordering.

Keep the rep details current. If your Orion rep changes, update the email here, because that address receives your orders.
