How to get Sports South credentials for Trinity
Sports South needs your customer number and a separate Web Services Password. How to ask for it and where it goes in Trinity.
Sports South connects through its web services API. You need two things: your User, a 4 or 5 digit number that is usually the same as your customer number, and a Web Services Password. The Web Services Password is separate from the password you use on the Sports South website.
How to get the Web Services Password
Email help.desk@sportssouth.biz and ask specifically for your Web Services Password. It is often set to your ZIP code to begin with, so try that first.
Sports South has to enable web services on your account before these credentials will work.
Where it goes in Trinity
- In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
- Press Configure next to Sports South. The Sports South Settings page opens.
- Under API credentials, enter your Customer number and your Web Services password. If Sports South gave you a Source ID for the integration, enter that too.
- Optionally set a Default ship-via code under Shipping, or leave it blank to let Sports South choose.
- Turn on Sports South integration enabled, press Save Settings, then Test connection.
Leave Sandbox mode off for real orders. While it is on, orders are not submitted.
