When Lipsey's tracking shows up

Updated October 9, 2026 in Distributors

Lipsey's releases each day's shipments late that night. Trinity checks the last three days on every run, so late postings and combined shipments still get their tracking.

Tracking for Lipsey's orders does not arrive the minute the box leaves their warehouse. Here is how it gets to your orders, and when to start looking.

Where the tracking comes from

Trinity reads tracking from Lipsey's own system: their daily shipping report, through their API. Lipsey's releases each day's shipments after 10:30 PM Central that night. Before then, the day's tracking simply is not available yet, from Trinity or anyone else.

How Trinity picks it up

  • Every run looks back three days. Lipsey's sometimes posts a day's shipments late. Because Trinity checks the last three days each time, a late posting is still picked up on the next run.
  • Tonight's shipments are added once Lipsey's releases them, after 10:30 PM Central.
  • One Lipsey's shipment can cover several of your orders. Lipsey's sometimes reports a shipment under just one of the order numbers it covers. Trinity matches on Lipsey's own order number as well, so every one of your orders in that shipment gets the tracking.
  • Re-reading is safe. Trinity only fills in tracking where it is still empty. It never overwrites tracking you entered yourself.

What happens with the tracking

  • Drop ship orders: the tracking is added to the customer's order, a shipped note goes in the order history, and for GunBroker orders the tracking is sent to GunBroker.
  • Ship to store orders: the tracking is your inbound shipment from Lipsey's to your store. Trinity records it on the order for you but keeps it off the customer's order and off GunBroker, because it is not the package the customer will receive.

Still no tracking?

If an order still has no Lipsey's tracking after a couple of days, look the order up in the Lipsey's dealer portal. If Lipsey's shows it shipped with tracking and Trinity does not, email support@2adata.com with the order number from your admin.
