How to get Zanders Sporting Goods credentials for Trinity

Updated October 9, 2026 in Distributor setup

Zanders uses separate API accounts for guns, accessories and ship to store, each with its own API key, plus one FTP login. What to ask for and where each goes.

Zanders Sporting Goods handles drop shipping through separate API accounts, one per kind of order. They are not interchangeable, and none of them is your zanders.com website login.

What to ask your Zanders rep

  1. Confirm drop shipping is enabled on your account.
  2. Ask for your API passcodes (Trinity calls each one an API key; Zanders issues it as a long code) for:
    • Firearms, for FFL drop ships,
    • Accessories, for accessory drop ships,
    • and, if you want it, ship to store.
  3. Ask for your FTP login too. It is one login, used to download Zanders' inventory files and to upload FFL documents. Orders never go over FTP.

Zanders has historically charged a drop ship setup fee of about $250, refunded after a set amount of sales. Ask your rep what applies to you; it is Zanders' policy and can change.

Where it goes in Trinity

  1. In your admin, open Shipping & FFL > Distributors.
  2. Press Configure next to Zanders. The Zanders Settings page opens.
  3. Enter your Zanders account number.
  4. Fill in each account you have, using Zanders' own names for them:
    • Main Account Order (ship-to-store): username and API key
    • Dropship Order (accessories): username and API key
    • Gun Order (FFL dropship): username and API key
  5. Under Zanders FTP, enter your FTP username and password.
  6. Switch on the accounts you use and Zanders integration enabled, then press Save Settings and Test connection.

Leave Test mode off for real orders. While it is on, orders are not submitted.
